Glandular fever

Glandular fever (the kissing disease, Pfeiffer's disease, infectious mononucleosis) is a viral infection associated with a high fever. It is typically transmitted from asymptomatic individuals by close contact through saliva (hence „the kissing disease, however, coughing and sneezing can also leave droplets of infected mucus or saliva suspended in the air that can be inhaled by other people), blood, or by sharing a drink, or eating utensils. more info
